Chuck Kohl, Executive Vice President/Director of Operations
Mr. Kohl began his career in 1972 with Mutual Savings after service in the United States Army. During his tenure at Mutual Savings he was an Assistant Secretary and Branch Manager of their largest office. He received his bachelor's degree from Milton College in Business Administration and did postgraduate work at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. He also recently received a certificate from Villanova University as a Lean Black Belt in Six Sigma.
From 1978 to 2009 Mr. Kohl worked for Tri City National Bank, California Federal Bank and Farmers Insurance Group Federal Credit Union managing their national and regional operations and the marketing of their commercial and retail banking services. He was responsible for system-wide operations management and for streamlining units and adapting the organization to new markets and regulatory climates. He is experienced in strategic new product/service initiatives, policy and procedure development, process automation and operations enhancement.
Immediately prior to joining 1st Enterprise Bank Mr. Kohl was Deputy Managing Director of the Banking Services Division at Imperial Capital Bank, responsible for the Retail Banking Division, including all centralized operations. He was also responsible for the division's strategic planning, budget control, marketing, regulatory compliance and funds management program. Further, he has extensive experience in new branch openings and strategic growth through analysis of community and commercial markets.
