Thomas F. Savage, Senior Advisor
Mr. Savage graduated from Loyola University at Los Angeles in 1957 having earned a Bachelors Degree in Finance. In 1958, he joined Union Bank as a Credit Analyst and over the ensuing 22 years he became the Senior Loan and Credit Officer for Union Bank at its 8th and Hill Office, which was the largest in the system in terms of loans, deposits and earnings.
In August of 1980, he left Union Bank to become one of the four founders of 1st Business Bank in downtown Los Angeles. For the following 20 years, Tom served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer overseeing all areas of credit administration.
Tom also served as a member of the board of directors of the bank throughout its ownership by John Anderson and Mellon Bank up to the point of its sale to US Bank in May of 2008. In July of 2008, he joined 1st Enterprise Bank as a Senior Advisor to executive management and the board of directors. Tom brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience to 1st Enterprise Bank and we are very proud to have him as part of our team.
